Oscar was born in 1977 and lives with his family in Billdal, just south of Gothenburg. He is an engineer and work as a consultant in Goovinn but has also worked several years as a professional sailor in the Victory Challenge.
He has a background as a dinghy sailor but was one of the persons getting involved in the Victory Challenge project. Through this challenge he were able to start sailing professionally, initially in a Mumm 36 keelboat. He was then part of both America’s Cup campaigns, both in New Zealand in 2002 and spanish Valencia in 2007 as a trimmer and developing the rigs..
For several years, Oscar has been trimmer for several skippers in the World Matchracing circuit. He is a member of the exclusive club that has won the Match Cup Sweden several times being victorious in 2003 and 2008. He is currently a member of the Stena Sailing Team on the current curcuit.
