Johan was born in 1964 and lives with his family in Lundby, Gothenburg. He works as a professional sailor and is involved in several sailing projects such as the Wally Maxi, Marstrom 32 catamarans, ORC and the matchracing circuit.
He a long history of Olympic class sailing and sailing on the World Matchracing Tour. In the last 10 years he has spent more and more time working with teams involved in big projects such as The Volvo Ocean Race and the America’s Cup and was just as Oscar member of the Victory Challenge campaigns.
He has also sailed the 505 on and off for several years and won a Silver medal at the 2003 Worlds in Malmö with helsman Krister Bergström.
To summarize Johan’s sailing ashievements, he has won 5 sailing World Championships and have participated in 3 Olympics and 2 America’s Cup campaigns. He has been awarded “Sailor of the year” in Sweden 1992, 1995, 1996, 1999 and 2011.
